Congratulations to the following varsity football players for earning CCL Blue All-Conference recognition: Will Livingston '22, Holden Quinn '22, Brooks Bahr '23, Michael Williams Jr. '22, James Kreutz '22. Jake Stearney '23, John Michael Talanges '22, and Marco Maldonado '22. In addition, Jake Stearney '23 received CCL Blue offensive player of the year recognition and James Kreutz '22 received CCL Blue Defensive player of the year. Head Coach John Holecek was named CCL Blue Lawless "Coach of the Year."
Congratulations to senior running back Marco Maldanado who has been named the Chicago Bears "High School All-Star" for week four! This is a significant recognition for Maldanado, who broke Loyola's long-standing single game rushing record during the Brother Rice game (46-43) on September 17, registering 335 yards before breaking his collarbone in one of the final plays of the game.
