The girls’ varsity basketball team ended its 23-11 season as regional champions for the fourth consecutive year. The team defeated Leyden 52–37 to advance to the 4A regional championship last week. At regionals, they chalked up a 47-29 win against rival New Trier. A 31-21 loss to Maine West in the sectional semifinals on Monday night concluded another terrific season for the Ramblers.
Congratulations to the girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams which swept the Jesuit Cup on Friday, January 10, at Loyola University’s Gentile Center! The girls defeated St. Ignatius 56-52 in overtime, and the boys captured their fourth consecutive Jesuit Cup win with a 43–31 victory over the Wolfpack.
