Freshmen/Sophomore Tryout Information
Tryouts for Frosh/Soph Golf will take place at Wilmette Golf Course. Everyone is guaranteed 2 days of tryouts. We will make an initial cut after the 2nd day and a final cut after the 3rd day. Average scores for incoming freshmen would typically be in the high 80's/low 90's. Average scores for returning sophomores need to be in the high 80's, mid 80's. Everyone who attends needs a physical on file and needs to be registered online and cleared through our Athletic Department, PRIOR to August 9. Green fees must be paid by each individual golfer for tryouts. A schedule for the season will be available after tryouts conclude. Please email Coach Livatino at tlivatino@loy.org if you plan on being at tryouts.
Tryout Schedule Wednesday, August 9 — 6:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10 — 6:00 a.m. — 1st Cuts Friday, August 11 — 6:00 a.m. — Final Cuts
