Ignatius, A Donkey, and Life After Loyola Academy Tuesday, March 7 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 2nd Floor Theater
Ignatius, A Donkey, and Life After Loyola Academy will bring Loyola parents together for an engaging and enlightening evening with guest speaker Doug Gleber, director of adult faith formation. Doug will share his knowledge of Ignatian discernment, a valuable addition to the tools you and your student will use as you plan for their future after Loyola Academy. You will hear stories of discernment and learn about St. Ignatius' guidelines for decision making.
Ignatius wasn't always Saint Ignatius, the highly regarded master of discernment and wellspring of wisdom, but a young, impetuous man ruled by his pride and ego. It would take many years and a lot of life experience for him to create the principles for decision making that we now call Ignatian Discernment. His time-tested guidelines offer extremely practical advice for making decisions, both big and small.
This is a free event, so invite a friend and learn how a donkey played a part in St. Ignatius' decision making process. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
Hosted by the Rambler Parent Organization (RPO).
Registration for this parent-only event is required.
