How Do We Secure Information and Transactions?
Hardware Security
Goramblers.org is hosted offsite in a secure, monitored environment. The site is protected by multiple firewalls, which help prevent hacking.
Software Security
Our site is backed up every night. Site pages that request form entry information from visitors, employees, alumni, parents, and students are protected through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Online payment information is secured by Blackbaud Merchant Services. Each form page loads with the HTTPS URL prefix.
Database Security
All database content is backed up nightly. Information is kept secure through password-protected logins for employees, alumni, parents, and student accounts. Loyola Academy conducts periodic security audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
