Service and Immersion Trips

Loyola Academy's Service Immersion Program is open to all members of the Class of 2027. Our trips offer students the chance to live the program's core values of community, simplicity, prayer, and solidarity through service.

Working with various communities throughout the US, these week-long trips allow students to encounter new perspectives, work for justice and grow in their awareness of the ways God is calling them to respond to the needs of the world.
Activities include:
  • listening to and learnng from members of the host community
  • serving food to people experiencing homelessness
  • completing light home repair projects
  • sharing and preparing meals
  • providing presence and companionship to elders
  • engaging in learning experiences around social justice issues
  • community gardening
Students should note the weeks they are available to participate and rank the types of experiences they prefer to participate in.

All students must be cleared and be in good standing with the principal's office, dean's office, tuition office, and counseling department.
