Opening Reception — Faculty Spotlight Exhibition: Colleen Aufderheide: Prints and Mixed Media
McGrath Family Performing Arts Center, 3461 Illinois Rd, Wilmette, IlPlease join us in celebrating the beautiful artwork of faculty member Colleen Aufderheide LdM '85 in the art gallery of the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center. Colleen is an accomplished printmaker and painter whose work encompasses a range of themes from walks in nature to abstract layered collages. McGrath Family Performing Arts Center, 3461 Illinois Rd, Wilmette, IlThe Lightning Thief Musical is a rock musical adaptation of Rick Riordan's popular novel, following Percy Jackson as he discovers he's a demigod and embarks on a quest to retrieve Zeus's stolen lightning bolt. The musical explores themes of friendship, courage, and heroism while battling mythological monsters and facing the challenges of growing up. It features a pop-rock score and a fast-paced plot that aims to engage both fans of the book series and new audiences. Tickets available through GoFan. -
