Spiritual Exercises

Chapel
During the season of Lent, the Parent Faith Formation will offer a six-week journey through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius for parents. This journey consists of a series of meditations, prayers and contemplative practices to help the parents deepen their relationship with God. Vice President of Miission and Ministry Mr. Gary Marando and Mr. Jeff Sullivan, SJ, of the Campus Ministry department will be the presenters for the evenings. Each session will begin with a group discussion about the previous week's prayer assignment, followed by small group discussions on reflection points on the theme for the week. The evening will conclude with a guided meditation based on St. Ignatius' imaginative prayer. Each participant will be asked to keep a prayer journal and pray for 30 minutes each day through the six-week program.
