"She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7
Imagine your heart is an inn. It is made for love. It is built for hospitality, for welcome. Yet, it always seems crowded. So much competes for your time and attention. It often feels like there just isn't room for one more thing...one more person. Then Joseph and Mary—strangers—come knocking. Do you open the door? How do you greet them? Do you let them in?
Join Mr. Douglas Gleber, Director of Adult Faith Formation and Mrs. Sarah Bennett, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Loyola Chapel for an evening of prayer, reflection and conversation. We will explore how this Advent season invites us to make room for Christ in our hearts and how it invites us to see all things new in Christ. Our prayer and conversation will be followed by a wine and cheese social.
