University of Maine

The University of Maine is a public land-grant research university in Orono, Maine. The campus stretches along the banks of the Stillwater River and is one of the nation's few land, sea and space grant institutions. Established in 1865, with a current enrollment of approximately 11,500 students, UMaine is the state's largest university.
