SWIMMING AND DIVING
 
At Loyola: Earned All-American, All-State, and All-Catholic League honors in 2007...state medalist in the 200 FR (6th), 200 MR (6th), and 200 Free (10th) in 2007.
 
At University of Iowa: Swam two years for the Hawkeyes...placed fifth at the Big Ten Championships in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.07)...named team MVP. during the 2007-2008 season...set the school record in the 100-yard freestyle (43.67) during 2008-2009 season.
 
At University of Florida: Won individual NCAA National titles in the 200-yard freestyle (1:32.31) and 500-yard Freestyle events (4:13.61)...earned both the SEC Male Swimmer of the Year and the NCAA Male Swimmer of the Year awards in 2010 and 2011...finished college career with twelve All-American honors and three NCAA titles (two individual, one relay).
 
Professional: Two-time Olympian (2012, 2016)...three-time Olympic medalist (2 golds, 1 bronze)...Rio 2016 Olympic Games, gold (4x200m free); bronze (200m free); 4th (400m free)...London 2012 Olympic Games, gold (4x200m free); 5th (400m free)...won ten World Championship medals (5 golds, 3 silvers, 2 bronze)...gold – 2011 (4x200m free); 2012 (4x200m free); 2013 (4x200m free); 2014 (4x200m free); 2015 (4x200m free)...silver – 2013 (200m free, 4x100m free); 2015 (4x200m free)...bronze – 2012 (200m free); 2017 (4x200m free).
