Football
Jim O'Connor was the leading tackler on both the 1991 and 1992 squads. As the senior captain of the 1992 squad, Jim had 75 unassisted tackles, 98 assisted tackles, 4 tackles for losses, and 2 interceptions. The 1991 Loyola Academy football squad was a State 6A Semi-Finalist, and the 1992 squad was a state 6A finalist. Jim was selected All-State by the Chicago Tribune in 1992.
