John was a two-way starter as an offensive fullback and defensive linebacker on the 1969 championship team that also won the Prep Bowl. An All-Stater, he called defensive signals and led the famed "Mighty Midgets" in tackles. * John was also a standout as a wrestler for the Ramblers.
