With 9 seconds to go in the swirling dust of St. Rita Stadium, Dave Finzer electrified the crowd with a 30 yard field goal into a stiff wind. The Ramblers 23-21 victory that afternoon sent them on their way to the Catholic League championship and a trip to the semi-finals of the Illinois State Playoffs. * Outstanding career at DePauw University. * Dave was a punter for the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks.
