Bob's 1969 team joined the 1930 squad as the only undefeated team in Loyola Academy history. That year Bob's 11-0 Ramblers defeated Lane Tech 26-0 in the Prep Bowl. * He was voted Illinois Coach of the Year in 1969. * During his six seasons as head coach, his teams won 51 games while losing only 9.
