Leonard Sachs (1985)

Football Coach

Lennie Sachs still lives in Loyola Academy history as our greatest coach. From 1923-1941, he coached the Maroon and Gold to 13 Catholic League Championships in three different sports. Our football stadium, named in his honor, perpetuates the memory of a man who coached Loyola Academy football for 17 years. * Lennie is also a member of the Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame and the Collegiate Football Hall of Fame.

Our Mission

To form women and men for meaningful lives of leadership and service in imitation of Jesus Christ through a college preparatory education in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition.
Loyola Academy admits students of any race, color and national origin or ethnic origin.
