Frederick C. Lindstrom '22 (1985)


Fred left Loyola in his sophomore year to join the New York Giants baseball organization. At 18 years, he was the youngest man to play in a World Series and established a record with 4 hits in one series game. * Fred had a lifetime batting average of .311, and was elected to Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1976.
