Raymond L. Elster '42 (2003)

Football

Like so many of the World War II generation, his is a story of character and commitment in the face of adversity. A hard-nosed running back possessed of straight-ahead power and a persistent desire to overcome obstacles, Raymond L. Elster charted a distinguished path on the Loyola gridiron before taking his game to Fordham University, where he became known as "The Chicago Express."
