Join us for the University of Chicago's Lumen Christi Institute Magis Lecture Series in the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center. The evening will begin with Mass in the Chapel, followed by a reception at 5:45 p.m. The lecture, delivered by Jeffrey P. Bishop, MD, PhD, of Saint Louis University, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Bishop will present on the topic, "Technology, Liturgy, and the Work of Human Hands."

The Magis Series on Faith and Reason is a partnership between the Lumen Christi Institute, St. Ignatius College Prep, and Loyola Academy to bring accessible yet sophisticated lectures on the Church's intellectual tradition to the broad lay public. The event is open to everyone from high school students to retirees. Anyone who desires a lively entry into the mind of the Church is welcome and encouraged to attend; no affiliation with either high school is needed.
