A Jesuit College Preparatory Experience

Parent Programming: How the Legalization of Marijuana Impacts our Students

East Gym
This program will detail the risks and concerns of the legalization of marijuana for our students, focusing on the legal, health and addiction implications for this generation.
Beginning in January, recreational marijuana becomes legal in the state of Illinois. Even though marijuana will remain an illegal substance for anyone under 21 years old, it still poses a significant threat for our school community.

We will be joined by Wilmette Chief of Police Kyle Murphy, pulmonologist Dr. Phil Sheridan '78, and representatives from Rosecrance, a leader in addiction and behavioral health treatment.
