Located on two campuses in Johnson and Lyndon, Vermont, Northern Vermont was established in 2018 and offers fifty bachelor’s degrees. Because of its location, Northern Vermont University offers some of the best hiking, biking, skiing and snowboarding in the country. With two campuses, students have more options for academic programs, research and hands-on experiences.

Student Life

Both campuses are located near some of the Northeast’s premier ski and snowboarding resorts.
Hundreds of miles of hiking and bike trails are within a few miles of both the Johnson and Lyndon campuses.
All freshmen go through NVU’s First-Year Experience Program, which exposes them to the culture of the school.
Each campus has multiple Division III sports teams for both women and men.
