Invite God into your day over a cup of coffee. Parents, graduate parents, alumni, and friends of Loyola are welcome to join us on Friday mornings for meaningful prayer, reflection, and faith sharing. The Gospel story for the upcoming Sunday will serve as a guide for our prayer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, renew your prayer life, and grow in your relationship with God. Come as you are! Come when you can!
Dance Collective is one of Loyola Academy's after-school performance groups that focuses on student choreography and performance through dance. Our company collaborates all year to choreograph and perform contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, and other dance styles. The concert will feature student works, director pieces, and a special guest performance from Loyola Academy's Step Team! Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.
Join us for the first-ever Mom Prom, an evening of dinner and games for Loyola moms and sons. Enjoy dinner followed by bowling, games (including virtual reality headsets), raffle prizes, and special gifts. Dressy casual attire and comfortable shoes are recommended.
Student-athletes and their parents/guardians are invited to attend an informational meeting via Zoom to learn more about what it takes to succeed on and off the playing field in college. Speakers include members of the Loyola Academy Athletics Department, the College Counseling Department, and current seniors who are going to play a sport in college. No registration is required.
This year Honors Dance will be having a Murder Mystery Dinner! Not really a dinner but the audience gets to watch the mystery unfold! Each dance is a course of the dinner, for example, the "main course" is the interrogation and the "dessert" is the reveal. The fun thing about this show is that the audience will get to vote on who they think did it!
Scott Gielow, CADC from Rosecrance; Christine Hazelett, LCPC from Haven Youth and Family Services; and our School Resource Officer Val Davis from the Wilmette Police Department will be presenting on Current Local Adolescent Trends in Mental Health & Substance Use and Strategies for parents.
