Catholic Charities, 721 N. LaSalle Drive, Chicago, Il
This event will be rescheduled with Catholic Charities when possible. In the meantime, please visit the Catholic Charities website here to learn more about how you can help during this time.
The Way of the Cross, also known as the Stations of the Cross, is a way to pray and meditate on Christ's sacrifice for us. It is customary to pray the Way of the Cross during Lent. The Church has always kept alive the memory of the words and the events of the last days of Jesus, a loving although painful memory of the path Jesus walked from the Mount of Olives to the Mount of Calvary. Making the Way of the Cross, we, the followers of Jesus, reflect deeply on our discipleship. Students, parents, alumni, faculty and friends are cordially invited.
The transition to college involves change for students as well as parents. While colleges offer many services to assist students with a successful transition to college, it can be a transition for parents, too. We will discuss Loyola's resources and support for Rambler parents to help manage a changing relationship with your "adult" son or daughter.
Although we are unable to volunteer with Misericordia due to these unprecedented times, Loyola Academy's PLC continues its partnership with an online campaign. If you are able to donate, please visit Misericordia's Candy Days web page here and share with other Loyola alumni. For more information or questions, please contact PLC executive board member Maddy Bednar '12 at bednarmg2@gmail.com.
Students, parents, alumni, faculty and friends are cordially invited to join the Loyola community for this special Sunday evening Mass celebrated by Loyola Academy President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, SJ.
