Parents and guardians of seniors are invited to join us for a panel discussion featuring admissions officers from various colleges who will address important admissions topics. Members of Loyola’s College Counseling Department also will be on hand to share important information about upcoming deadlines and college programs. -

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
ChapelAll Ramblers are invited to share personal, prayerful time with God by participating in the ancient practice of Eucharistic Adoration. We will offer this opportunity every first Friday of the month during the school year. Beginning this Friday, September 7, from 7:40 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,the chapel will be reserved for exposition of the Eucharist and for anyone desiring silent prayer.
You can stop in the Chapel for as little or as much time as you like. All you need to bring is your desire to be with God. You can also bring a journal, book or other reflection materials if you wish. Other prayer resources will also be available for your use. For more information, please click here. -

24th Annual Ramblers Golf Outing
North Shore Country Club, 1340 Glenview Road in GlenviewWe are looking forward to hosting our annual golf outing at the newly renovated course at the North Shore Country Club.
Check in will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will be provided at 12:00 p.m.
Shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.
Awards reception to follow outing (open bar and appetizers)
All proceeds will go toward supporting tuition assistance and our needy family fund.

Mothers' Club Fall Mass and Reception
Loyola parents and guardians are cordially invited to the Mothers' Club Fall Mass and Reception with Loyola President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, SJ, and Loyola Principal Charles Heintz. Come join us for an uplifting start to the academic year! This event begins with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Front Lobby followed by Mass at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Due to the construction projects and subsequent parking restrictions happening on Loyola's campus, we encourage all attendees to carpool when possible. Complimentary valet parking will be available, though guests are kindly reminded to allow additional time for arrival and drop off. We are grateful for your patience and look forward to seeing you at this wonderful event!

First to College: A Program for First-Generation College Bound Students
Marillac RoomThere's something special about being first...especially being the first in your family to attend and graduate from college.
If you did not graduate from a four-year college in the United States, your child is a first generation student, a college trailblazer and someone who should be proud to say, "I'm First!"
This year we are excited to have St. Olaf College Assistant Dean of Admissions and Multicultural Recruitment Wenie Lado and an alumni panel of Loyola Academy first generation students.
This program is open to ALL first-generation students parents or guardians and families. Brunch will be served.

Freshman Luau
West GymThis very special annual tradition is exclusively for members of the Class of 2022. The Luau, hosted by the Loyola Academy student leadership group Insignis, is a fun, casual and festive celebration—and a great way for our newest Ramblers to meet other Loyola freshmen and form new friendships! The Freshman Luau will take place on Friday, September 27, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the West Gym. More information regarding the Freshman Luau will be forthcoming. -

Please note, this year the Loyola Academy College Fair will be moving to Monday, March 25, 2019, to align with our peer high schools and better meet the needs of our students. More information about this event will be released in early spring. -
Homecoming Dance
East GymThe Homecoming Dance is a dance for sophomores, juniors and seniors. This semiformal dance hosted by Student Council culminates our Fall Spirit Week activities. Tickets for the dance are $25 per person and will be available for purchase in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Students must enter the dance by 9:00 p.m. and are not permitted to leave until the end of the dance at 10:30 p.m. More information regarding the Homecoming Dance will be forthcoming in early September.
