The Young Alumni Council, previously known as the President’s Leadership Council (PLC), is a diverse group of alumni who serve as ambassadors for the Loyola Academy mission and the cura personalis of the alumni community.

Membership Dues

Membership Requirements

Volunteer leadership is a vital component of the success of alumni events and programs every year. The Young Alumni Council will allow you the chance to be a part of something bigger than yourself while providing you with some unique benefits. Membership to the Young Alumni Council is based upon meeting several requirements: Council members are strongly encouraged to:
  • Participate in student-affiliated events such as LA Tank, Loyola's student version of Shark Tank, Quo Vadis, and others throughout the year.
  • Assist with the execution of one or more Council event.
  • Attend the  President's Dinner at a discounted rate.
  • Attend Admissions events or school visits as a representative of Loyola Academy.

    • Make An Impact

      As a Council member, you will make an impact on the Loyola Academy young alumni community by acting as an ambassador of our mission and engaging community members. There are also opportunities to make an impact through service events and student-affiliated volunteer offerings.
    • Faith Formation

      The Young Alumni Leadership Council, in collaboration with Fr. Greg Ostdiek, SJ, and Loyola Academy, provides alumni opportunities for faith formation. As a Council member, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your faith through service opportunities while honing your leadership skills by co-chairing faith-focused events. Alumni of all faiths and formation experience are encouraged to participate.
    • Build Your Network

      As a Council member, you will have the chance to grow your professional network and engage with industry leaders at network opportunities and events throughout the year.
