Johnny Miller '15

Johnny Miller ’15 credits Loyola Academy’s O’Shaughnessy Program with helping shape both his academic journey and his confidence in himself. “The O’Shaughnessy Program did so much for me. Not only did it give me the academic tools I needed to succeed, but it gave me confidence to believe in myself and that with hard work and determination, everything is possible.”

After graduating from Loyola Academy, Johnny earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Religious Studies from DePauw University and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies and Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Today, he has returned to Loyola Academy as a member of the Campus Ministry Department, where he serves as Sophomore Retreat Coordinator, helping students grow in faith, self-awareness, and community through the Ignatian tradition. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Rambler Track & Field program. Johnny’s journey reflects the mission of the O’Shaughnessy Program and Loyola Academy by demonstrating how confidence, compassion, and perseverance can inspire a life dedicated to serving and uplifting others.
