Alex Sipe '28

For Alex Sipe ’28, Loyola Academy is a place of discovery, growth, and opportunity. A member of the Loyola baseball program, Student Council, STEAM Scholars, Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, and a Loyola Academy Day Camp counselor, Alex embraces opportunities to learn, lead, and serve. Early in his freshman year, he took a chance by joining Student Council, an experience that helped him become more connected to the school community and introduced him to the traditions that make Loyola unique. Whether cheering on fellow Ramblers at athletic events, helping prospective students as a shadow host, or spending time studying in the library, Alex values the strong sense of community that defines Loyola.

Alex credits Loyola with helping him explore his interests and better understand who he is becoming. Through academics, athletics, service, and meaningful conversations with classmates and teachers, he has gained a deeper appreciation for the diverse experiences and perspectives of others. Inspired by mentors like Mr. Wawrzyniak, who has been both his teacher and baseball coach, Alex continues to grow in confidence and curiosity. Looking ahead, he hopes to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering, combining his love of learning with a passion for innovation. His journey reflects Loyola Academy’s commitment to forming students who are intellectually curious, compassionate, and eager to use their gifts in service to others.
