St. Nick's Mass & Party Kicks Off the Holiday Season at LA

The Christmas season was in full swing at the annual St. Nicholas Mass & Party hosted by the Rambler Parent Organization (RPO).
Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ, celebrated Mass to kick off the evening and put guests in the Christmas spirit. After Mass, over 200 attendees made their way to the East Gym to browse the latest one-of-a-kind Rambler gear and gifts for loved ones from the LoyolaWear store and RPO pop-up shops.

There was an abundance of good cheer, appetizers, and glögg, a spicy Swedish wine, provided by Louis Glunz Beer, for guests to enjoy. Shopping bags were full as many checked off items from their Christmas lists, including dopp kits, footballs, pajama pants, and personalized ornaments.

The spirit of giving was also in the air as many guests brought Aldi and Target gift cards as part of Loyola's Gonzaga Christmas Drive, an annual donation drive supporting under-resourced families during the holiday season. A total of $535 was raised, helping to make the season a little brighter for families in need.

Many thanks to event chairs Regan Christopoulos P '24, '26 and Heidi Goebel P '24, their committee members, and the countless volunteers who helped make the evening possible. Additional thanks to the LoyolaWear staff and the Rambler Parent Organization, as well as the many Angel and Guardian level underwriters who supported the event!
