Senior Named to Hope Squad National Council

Congratulations to Hope Squad member Nora McNabb ’23, who will represent Loyola Academy on the Hope Squad National Council this year! The Hope Squad National Council is composed of high school juniors and seniors who have served on a Hope Squad for at least one year. The National Council leads monthly support calls, organizes and presents at Hope Squad trainings, and participates at national Hope Squad events and conferences.
“Nora has been a champion of adolescent mental health since she first started on Hope Squad her freshman year. She took to Instagram the moment we went remote in 2020 to connect with others and share her experiences so others did not feel so isolated,” said Counseling Department Chair Mrs. Sheila Blanchfield. “She has participated in Hope Squad local and national events throughout her freshman, sophomore, and junior years at Loyola Academy. We are so proud that she was selected as one of the Hope Squad National Student Council members for her senior year. We look forward to the jubilation Nora will bring to our community as a National Council member!”
