Student Council Honors the 20th Anniversary of September 11th
To honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11, members of Loyola Academy's Student Council led an effort to create a display of American flags at the school's highly visible sign on the corner of Lake and Laramie Avenues.
The flags pay tribute to the 2,977 individuals who died in the four planes, the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. We pray for the women and men whose lives were lost, including Loyola Academy alumnus Michael P. Lunden '82. We remember with a promise to never forget.
