Loyola Lacrosse Earns Double State Championship Titles

Congratulations to our girls' and boys' varsity lacrosse teams—both are 2021 IHSA State Champions!
On Friday, June 18, the girls' varsity lacrosse team defeated Glenbrook South 18–7. This is the program's first IHSA State Championship and the 14th title in program history. In addition, the girls' lacrosse team had their first undefeated season in program history (25–0).

Then, on Saturday, June 19, the boys' varsity lacrosse team defeated Lake Forest High School 11–8. This is the program's 13th state title and second IHSA State Championship. Notably, the team captured the inaugural IHSA lacrosse state championship in 2018, when they defeated New Trier 7–2.

Congratulations to each team, head coaches John Dwyer (girls' varsity) and Rob Snyder (boys' varsity), the assistant coaches and our dedicated Rambler parents on these outstanding achievements! In such an exceptional year, this a remarkable accomplishment for Loyola Academy and the teams. We applaud all the players for their hard work, tenacity and teamwork which led them to capture these 2021 state titles.

Go Ramblers!
