Sending Forth Days Unify Ramblers

Loyola hosted Sending Forth Days for underclass students on May 24–26. Similar to Orientation Days in August, the Sending Forth Days served as a recommitment to our community goals of wellness and oneness. Freshman, sophomore and junior students were on campus with their entire class for team building activities that included guided reflections, Mass, making art and more. The day provided opportunities to reflect on the year and make connections and preparations for the fall.
Juniors were on campus Monday, May 24; sophomores on Tuesday, May 25; and freshmen on Wednesday, May 26. Students were placed into groups of up to sixteen students and had the chance to request three of their peers to be with for the day. An adult leader led each group through the day’s activities, and lunch was provided.

Despite a difficult year filled with many challenges, Sending Forth Days provided an opportunity to reflect and refocus—as a class—before departing for the summer months.
