Women Leaders of Loyola Host Business Panel

To align with the celebration of Women’s History Month, the Women Leaders of Loyola Club hosted a “Women in Industry” panel in March with five guest speakers who discussed their careers and paths to success. Four Loyola Academy alumnae and one current Loyola mother shared their stories via Zoom. The panel was hosted during lunch periods and on-campus students were invited to participate in the panel discussion from Loyola’s Theater.

The theme of Women’s History Month 2021 was “Be Brave. Be Bold. Be fearless.” Throughout the month of March, the Women Leaders of Loyola Club collaborated with the Office of Student Activities to promote awareness through a social media campaign that highlighted the contributions of influential women on “Women Wednesdays” and “Female Fridays.” In addition to the Women in Industry panel, Loyola’s celebration of Women’s History Month also included a Diversity Dialogue on March 17 that focused on gender equity as well as an opportunity for students to write thank you notes to women who have impacted their lives.
