Girls' Cross Country Takes 2nd Place at IHSA Sectionals

Congratulations to the girls’ cross country team on their 2nd place finish in the IHSA 3A sectional on Saturday, October 31. This is the best sectional team finish in program history! The team was led by freshman Morgan Mackie in 2nd place and sophomore Maeve Norman in 10th place. Sophomore Ellie Grammas finished in 16th place.

Also competing were seniors Sarah Jay and Hayes Flanagan and freshmen Erin McCarthy and Lauren Woodward. Notably, Morgan Mackie and Maeve Norman received All-Sectional recognition.

Congratulations to Coach Simon, Coach Seeberg, Coach Gelwicks, Coach Medland and the entire team on an outstanding season!
