2020 Symphony and Honors Orchestra Fall Concert

Loyola Academy’s Symphony Orchestra and Honors Orchestra held its first ever virtual fall concert on Monday, October 26. The event was live streamed on RamblerStream, a free platform that provides the Loyola community with live and prerecorded HD video of Masses, events, athletic competitions and more. Performances included a blend of modern and traditional selections that highlighted the talents of our orchestra students. In addition, senior Dawson Kimbell performed on drums for the orchestra. 
The evening’s program included:
  1. Spring from ‘The Four Seasons’ by Antonio Vivaldi arranged by Richard Meyer – Foreword by Julia Narkun (Full Orchestra)
    2. Concerto in G major, Rv310, Movement 1 by Antonio Vivaldi arranged by Thomas LaJoie – Foreword by James Casey (Honors Orchestra)
    3. Barcarolle – Summer from ‘The Seasons’ by Alexander Glazunov arranged by Pedro Gilbert – Foreword by Amanda Rajkovich (Full Orchestra) 
    4. Señorita by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello – Foreword by Emily Rice (Honors Orchestra)
    5. Memories by Maroon 5 – Foreword by Jack McBrearty (Full Orchestra)
