Elle Zern
College of Holy Cross
"Ellie’s grandmother gave her a necklace on her 15th birthday with three keys and three hearts, and the suggestion that she could decide what they symbolized. Ellie has worn that necklace every day since, and three years later has decided the symbols represent the three things that she has cherished the most in her life: her family, athletics, and her future. Her family have supported her and encouraged her to always believe in herself to become extraordinary, as they loved her unconditionally. Her athletic abilities have taught her several lessons in the past three years, such as responsibility, teamwork, the importance of self-care, hard work and dedication. Lastly, Ellie is ready for what her future holds as she works everyday on achieving her dream of becoming a person who is selfless, sympathetic, and sees good in everyone and everything. Ellie is ready to begin the next chapter of her life as she continues to set the world on fire."
