Student Artists Receive Scholarships and Recognition from IHSAE

Jackson Tolnai ’20 and Tina Li ’20 were asked to show work in the Senior Scholarship Exhibition for the Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE) juried show. Both seniors received scholarship offers for college. Jackson and Tina, along with Katie Bachert ’20, Mitch Ganz ’20, Ethan Torain ’20 and PJ Langas ’20 will have pieces in the general exhibition. Also included in the exhibition is Chicagoland 4x5 winner Jared Otarola ’22. Several other seniors also received scholarship offers through submission of a portfolio through IHSAE. In total, Loyola students were extended $890,000 in scholarships to study the arts in college from a variety of schools through the IHSAE Senior Portfolio review process.  
The IHSAE exhibition celebrates high school student achievement in the Visual Arts from over 150 Illinois high schools and runs from March 3–April 3 at the Bridgeport Art Center.
