Science Olympiad Team Qualifies for State

Loyola's varsity Science Olympiad team had a great showing at regionals and qualified for state with an overall score of 102! The state competition will be held at the University of Illinois on Saturday, April 18.
The team received medals for the following:

Chemistry Lab - Aiden Jurcenko and Jack Nugent (4th place)
Circuit Lab - Jack Nugent and Martin Susanto (2nd place)
Experimental Design - Allegra and Francesca Hamacher and Elizabeth Guttschow (4th place)
Forensics - Hannah Palmer and Caroline Michaels (1st place)
Fossils - Hannah Palmer and Ashley Jablonski (3rd place)
Machines - Jack Nugent and Martin Susanto (2nd place)
Ornithology - Sam Nieman and Chris Bush Moline (2nd place)
Ping Pong Parachute - Allegra and Francesca Hamacher (1st place)
Protein Modeling - Chris Bush Moline and Aiden Jurcenko (2nd place)
Sounds of Music - Hannah Palmer and Martin Susanto (4th place)
Wright Stuff - Martin Susanto (4th place)
