Loyola Students Recognized at 9th Annual Jesuit National 4x5 Competition

In April, Loyola Academy hosted the ninth annual Jesuit National 4x5, a hybrid art show and competition that requires all entries to be just four inches by five inches. The competition is open to all Jesuit high schools and awards prizes in categories such as color drawing, black and white drawing, printmaking, digital design, mixed media, sculpture and more.
This year's competition saw entries from ten Jesuit high schools across the country including submissions from Miami, Dallas and San Francisco.

Madeline Reyes ’20—Second Place in Drawing
Lizzy Balentine ’19—First Place in Printmaking
Eloise Denker ’21—Second Place in Photography
Micaela Quintanilla ’19—3rd place in Photography
Katherine Beard ’20—Honorable Mention in Photography
Josh Zaker ’19—Honorable Mention in Design
Ethan Torain ’20—Third Place in Mixed Media
Patrick Voight ’20—Third Place in Sculpture
 
The exhibit will be on display from Saturday, April 6, to Friday, April 26, in the Chapel hallway.
