Girls Bowling News
This season, the girls' bowling team has shown that it's not how you start, it's how you finish!
In January, the team earned a 2nd place finish at the GCAC conference tournament. Yosan Worota '19 and Samantha Olanda '20 were named All-Conference.
During the first weekend in February, the girls took 5th place at the IHSA State Regionals, missing the chance to advance as a team by only 77 pins. After a tough morning round, the Ramblers came roaring back with a 2637 team series and the highest team game 988 of the afternoon round. Three Ramblers advanced to the IHSA State Sectionals in Hoffman Estates next weekend: Yosan Worota '19, 1076 series, high games of 211, 225; Elizabeth Balentine '19, 990 series, 198, 179; Van Nguyen '19, 962 series, 213, 189.
