Ramblers Sign Commemorative Beam at the Site of Future Pool

On Wednesday, December 5, Loyola Academy swimmers, divers and water polo players gathered outside the site of the future John D. Norcross '54 Aquatic Center to sign a steel beam before it was hoisted up and into place on the future pool building. It was a special moment for Loyola's aquatic community and the chance for Ramblers to leave their mark on the exciting new construction.
Loyola Academy President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, SJ, addressed the crowd and offered this prayer: "Loving God, we give you thanks for all the ways you bless us and all the gifts you give us. Thank you for being so generous to help us dream big dreams here at Loyola and to strive to become more." To view a short video, click here.

Next, masonry work is set to begin in mid-December, and the roof will be constructed in January.
