2018 Rambler Reunion Celebrations

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, Ramblers from the Classes of 1978, 1988, 1993 and 1998 gathered at Loyola to celebrate their Rambler Reunions! The atmosphere was joyful as alumni shared stories, memories and endless laughs.
The day started with a Rambler tailgate at noon before Loyola took on Providence Catholic on Hoerster Field. With the cheers of alumni encouraging the team, the Ramblers claimed a 28–7 victory and secured a place in the IHSA state playoffs.

After the game, the festivities continued with a special Reunion Mass in the Loyola Chapel celebrated by Loyola Academy President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, SJ. Current Rambler Mike Kadus ’19 addressed the crowd and shared some wisdom from his four years at Loyola: “I came to Loyola with a focus on football alone; I leave with a far greater understanding of who I am and ready to embrace the responsibilities and challenges of adulthood.

Following Mass, guests made their way to the designated class locations in either the East Gym, Student Center, Library or Marillac Room. A cocktail and dinner reception provided ample time for catching up with old friends.

As the evening's events ended, Ramblers left with fond memories and re-kindled friendships. The celebrations served as a reminder that it's always a great day to be a Rambler!
