Marty Jennings '98 Named Vice President of Alumni and Network Engagement

Martin G. Jennings '98 will return to Loyola Academy this summer in a newly created position, vice president of alumni and network engagement, and will serve on Loyola Academy President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath's Executive Leadership Team.
Loyola Academy's strategic plan challenges us to expand our outreach to alumni and the other networks that are part of the broad Loyola community. Marty is a talented and dedicated Rambler who will help us reimagine how we can connect and support so many members of the Rambler world and advance our shared Jesuit mission.

As head of Loyola's Alumni Relations team, Marty will take over the responsibilities of Loyola's former Director of Alumni Relations Meghan Huffman Brennan '07 and will build upon Meghan's passion for community building that has benefited the many successes of the alumni relations program. Meghan, who recently resigned from her post to be with her growing family, will be missed and we wish her well. Ashley Sanks '10 will continue her good work as part of Marty's alumni relations and networking team.

For the past four years, Marty has served as athletic director of St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. During his tenure at St. Viator, he helped align the school's mission to its athletic programs and in the hiring of its coaches. Under Marty's leadership, St. Viator's teams and individuals won three IHSA state titles and multiple regional, sectional and East Suburban Catholic Conference (ESCC) championships. He also served as the liaison for St. Viator in the ESCC, where he was involved in the redevelopment of football scheduling and was a member of the conference's hall of fame selection committee.

From 2007 to 2014, Marty was assistant director of admissions at Loyola Academy, serving as the lead recruiter by establishing connections to prospective families and area schools and as a member of the school's Admissions Committee. He was Loyola's assistant football coach from 2005 to 2014, and, in 2008, he was named head softball coach, leading Ramblers to win the 2009 IHSA State Championship. He remained head softball coach until 2014.

Marty and his wife, Rachael, and their three children live in Glenview. He enjoys golfing and running and has participated in several triathlons.
