Keep A Safe Distance

COVID-19 spreads mainly among people who are within close contact of each other (within 6 feet). Recent studies indicate that a significant portion of COVID-19 transmission is done through people that have no symptoms. That's why one of the first tools to employ in the fight against COVID-19 is physical distancing. We all have a personal responsibility and community accountability to help stop the spread.
Physical distancing means keeping space between yourself and other people outside of your home. Although the risk of severe illness may be different for everyone, anyone can become infected and spread COVID-19.

To practice physical distancing:
  • stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people
  • do not gather in groups, whether on campus or outside of school
  • stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings
