At Loyola: graduated as all-time leading passer with 2,253 yards...20 wins as a starting quarterback...won two Prep Bowl championships...All-Catholic League team (1996)...All-Area team (1996)...National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Award...three-year starter on the varsity basketball team...All-Catholic League team...All-Area team. At Wisconsin: member of 1999 Big Ten Championship team. At Yale University: 11 passing records, including passing yards (3,713) and touchdowns (31)... Ivy League Championship... Academic All-American (Verizon and NCAA coaches....one of fifteen college football players in the nation to receive the 2001 National Football Foundation and College Football Scholar Athlete Award...Gerald Ford Award Winner...Chester J. LaRoache Scholar Athlete Award.
