Alex Wilson (1985)

From his days as a member of the Canadian Olympic track team, Alex Wilson came to Loyola in 1932. For 16 years he coached the University swimming and track teams, and the swim team at the Academy. In 1937, he won the Catholic League title, a feat not repeated for 29 years. Later Alex went on to a distinguished coaching career at Notre Dame University.
