Loyola Academy and Loyola University Chicago Honor Rev. Henry J. Dumbach, SJ

Loyola University Chicago Lake Shore Campus
Please join us and Loyola University Chicago as we pay tribute to Rev. Henry J. Dumbach, SJ, the Jesuit responsible for purchasing the land that would become Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus. Dumbach Hall was the original home of Loyola Academy, which opened its doors to 71 young men in September 1909.
All original Ramblers of Dumbach Hall, as well as those currently taking classes on LUC's Lake Shore Campus, are invited to celebrate Mass in the Madonna della Strada chapel at 10:00 a.m., followed by a brief ceremony at the east entrance of Dumbach Hall. Later that afternoon, join your fellow alumni for lunch at Bar 63, formerly Hamilton's pub, located at 6341 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL 60660.
