Two Ramblers Present at Hope Squad International Webinar

Lauren Dziedzic '22 and Liam Zidar '22 presented at the 2021 Hope Squad International Conference last month. “They did so well, were very vulnerable and received such positive feedback from their peers,” says Director of Counseling Mrs. Sheila Blanchfield, who moderates Loyola’s Hope Squad along with School Counselors Ms. Colleen Fahrenbach '11, Dr. Gabrielle Feldman, PhD, and Mrs. Erin Shapiro. Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer program that trains "squads" of students to recognize peers at risk for suicide and then access immediate help from an adult.  Both Liam and Lauren were named to the Hope Squad National Council last spring.
Watch a recording of the conference here. Liam and Lauren served as panelists beginning at 02:42:00.
