Loyola Academy is partnering with Compass Health Center for a presentation on the topic of supporting student's mental health over the summer.
As the school year comes to an end, the summer months may bring anxiety and uncertainty, which leaves many parents asking how they can support their children. Join us as Dr. Alex Timchak, Margaret Lewis and Heather Abels share different strategies to tackle the flood of emotions, how to plan in uncertain times and ways for students to remain engaged. More information is available here.
This webinar will be held on Wednesday, May 13, at 7:00 p.m. Registration in advance is required. Click here to register.
Parents and graduates are invited to attend the Baccalaureate Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the East Gym. A brunch reception will follow the Mass in the West Gym. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for graduates and their parents to pray together and to socialize as a Loyola Academy Family. This event is only for the graduate and his/her parents; whereas, graduation offers an opportunity for additional family members to join in the celebration.
Join us for our spring Financial Aid Seminar as a veteran financial aid professional will lead the discussion and share insight and experience on topics around college costs and the financial aid process.
We will celebrate a virtual Baccalaureate Mass as a community on Saturday, May 23, at 4:00 p.m. We wanted to honor this day, as it was originally graduation day.
The Baccalaureate Mass will be led by Fr. McGrath, and it will feature music from our students, the recognition of all-school award winners and an address by our Rebarchak Award winner, the senior who humbly embodies Loyola's motto of acting as a woman or man for others.
After Communion, parents will participate in the ceremony by giving their child the Ignatius medal. The Ignatius medals were blessed by Fr. McGrath at Loyola prior to being sent home in a care package from Loyola. This moment is an annual tradition at Loyola, and it marks that our graduates have been missioned into the world as leaders in service.
