On Monday, February 4, Loyola’s ping pong team traveled to St. Ignatius College Prep and downed the Wolfpack 15–1 in matches and 46–5 in games, capturing the coveted Golden Paddle. This marks the eleventh consecutive year—the entire life of the award—that the Ramblers have been victorious in this annual match up.
The competition is a spirited rivalry that has become a great tradition between the two schools.
The goal of the ping pong club and team is to promote ping pong as both a sport and recreational activity to increase friendships and connections among students. They meet Mondays and Wednesdays in the cafeteria. For more information, contact ping pong moderator Mr. John Rank at jrank@loy.org.
